Hello, I’m SkullFireXO.

If you know the name, you’ve probably been part of the XO community somewhere along our journey, whether through streams, socials, or just vibing with the kind of games that just hit different. I have designed this blog to be the next step in that journey.
So whats the deal with InsideXO?

Simply put, this is where we talk games. Real talk.

No corporate fluff, no chasing clicks, Just previews, reviews, interviews, and thoughts from someone who actually plays the games and cares about the people who make them.

I’m especially obsessed with games made by new upcoming small developers, the passion projects, the weird experiments, the beautiful surprises that don’t always make front-page news but deserve way more love.

You can expect:

Deep dives and first impressions of upcoming indie titles

Honest reviews – not sugar-coated, not cynical

Conversations with developers and the people building some really cool stuff

Opinion pieces that speak from the heart, not the algorithm

Why Start a Blog?

Because not everything fits in a tweet or a TikTok. Sometimes a game needs more than 60 seconds, it needs context, voice, and someone willing to say, “Yeah, this one’s special,” or “Nah, this missed the mark, here’s why.”

I built XO to be a community first, not just a brand. InsideXO is our written space to dig deeper, share thoughts, highlight creators, and maybe help you find your next favorite game before it blows up.

What’s Next?

There’s a lot coming – interviews, reviews, hot takes, maybe even some behind-the-scenes content if you’re into that. I’m not here to play the hype game; I’m here to tell you what’s worth your time, and i’m not going to point you in the wrong direction.

The voice and vision behind InsideXO. SkullFireXO brings years of gaming insight and community-building experience into every post. Whether it’s a deep-dive review, or an editorial on the state of indie survival games, he’s dedicated to building a meaningful, player-focused media outlet. When he’s not working on InsideXO, he’s probably looting a warehouse, planning a base, or covering the latest early access hit.

Based in Europe, I help guide InsideXO’s connection with its growing community. From moderating the Discord and various platforms and summarizing feedback, to helping write, review and talk with developers, alongside tracking what the XO are playing, and amplifying fan-made content, I am here to ensure the XO voice is truly collaborative. As well as being a key part of our expansion plans and future dev-focused mini-doc efforts.
